Typically my use of iPhoto is limited to when I am connected to my external display anyway, but on the off-chance that I am not at home, I'd still like to use Aperature.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;That being said, Aperature's ability to keep thumbnails on the Macbook with all the high-res photos residing on an external drive - is making me want to make the jump early.
