There's so many great birds in our area. Chickadees, Juncos, a wide range of sparrows, cowbirds (watch out for those), tufted titmouse, so many :)

We bought my inlaws for Christmas one year, one of the feeders that goes in the window and is tinted. So the birds only see their reflection but you get a close up view.

Looking forward to your photos!

Re: The $1 bird feeder

I'm hoping for similar results. Though I have a feel it is going to take a while for the birds to find the seed. I may have to resort to coaxing them towards the feeder using other bowls or something. But I'm going to give it a week.

Re: The $1 bird feeder

Before I read it I thought it was a countdown to see how long until it breaks. I was gonna say it'll be fine if the squirells can't get to it.

Re: The $1 bird feeder

My mom put a bird feeder outside our kitchen window. A week later, our house is the bird hang out. It's hilarious. They hang out in the bushes and look into the window when the foods all gone too.

Re: The $1 bird feeder

Haha.

Re: The $1 bird feeder

lol before I started to read it i thought "the countdown" was how long it stayed up

Re: The $1 bird feeder

As a side note the thing comes with a thermometer too.
