Great transparent post on the service and your competitors. Facing a barrage of feedback can be difficult, but these posts and the "viddlertv" episodes show your commitment to this community. I look forward to Viddler's future service offerings.

Hey Colin, lots of great stuff and thinking here -- especially around the UVTA. I know lots of folks operate purely in a mimicry mode and that's where risk taking and independent thinking really get sacrificed.
I'm glad you took the time to really address Mike's comments given his effort in writing them up. I like the how Viddler could response/react to his ideas and am looking forward to being able to directly link frames to external URLs instead of using comments! ;)

Thanks for your kind words and for stopping by. "Mimicry mode" is an interesting thought. Playing the game from behind, or at least thinking you are, really ends up making everything boring. Reminds me of a lot of corporate America.
