Hey, did anyone on the Viddler team go to Lehigh? I'm class of '99. :)

Viddler started in Fall of 2005 at Lehigh University's Entrepreneurship Annex while my partner Donna DeMarco was finishing up her Masters in Computer science and I was finishing up my Computer Science & Business Degree. After developing a few prototypes we won the first ever business plan competition for a Lehigh grant. Viddler HQ is actually currently incubated on Mountain Top campus, at Jordan Hall.

I have not worked with either of those fellows. I'm something of a cyber hermit.

My favorite part of the printer install was when I went to Epson's site for "vista compatible" print drivers: "If your printer is grayed out, no vista driver is available yet."
hmm. hope i don't need to print for a while
Or maybe I can install bon jour....

Although Bonjour will help you to detect available printers I am not sure if it will help Vista to print to it. Vista has no problem recognizing that the printer is available, its make and model-number, or any of that jazz. It simply won't send data to the printer without having the proper drivers.

So, I guess you'll just have to get a Mac. ;)
