What a lot of us in Europe are hoping and waiting for is MSN integration within iChat (like with Jabber). In Europe, MSN is used far more than AOL and everyone uses MSN Messenger, which sucks (on the Mac, I don't know how it is on the PC). So if I could just add my contacts from MSN (I actually use aMSN because it's better) into iChat. That would be great!

that's just my 2¢ :)

Or more simply, they should just buy Chax and integrate all those features into it.

Tom, there is a huge amount of people using MSN in North America as well. That would be high on my list of improvements too.

Australia is the same, Everyone uses MSN, I really like the idea of iChat. However no one in Australia uses AIM or .mac so it makes iChat redundant really.

If you could add MSN to iChat and be able to video conference with those contacts I would use iChat over everything else.

Unfortunately I doubt Microcrap is going to allow apple to do it.

I haven't used iChat once since i have my macbook pro.
Everyone i know is using MSN messenger :(

No way...
Just convert your friends to Jabber. It's free as in freedom.
Did you ever read the policies regarding MSN ?
Keep your soul by yourself. I never had problems to chat with someone with Jabber.
If you on the dark side, andstill want to sell yur soul to Microsoft, you can use so calles transports on Jabber, to connect to any kind of IM-Network. So even MSN is no problem with iChat and Jabber.
